A Community Tradition

This weekend, our community hosts the 74th annual Berry Dairy Days Celebration. You can see all the details and activities at the Burlington Chamber of Commerce website.

The Burlington Public Library will once again be represented in the Saturday parade by Squiggly the Bookworm, a colorful creature who promotes Summer Reading. Want to join us? We’re still looking for a few “pairs of legs” to power Squiggly down the parade route. Call the library by 5:00pm Friday if you’re interested. 360-755-0760

I remember pulling a homemade “float” on a wagon back when I was about 8 years old. I won a prize in the kid’s category, and got to meet Seattle kid’s TV celebrity, Brakeman Bill, who was that year’s Parade Grand Marshall.
