Are you a fan of Sara Noel’s “Frugal Living” column in the Skagit Valley Herald? Occasionally the headline will catch my attention, and I’ll read further. Last month she shared some energy saving tips, including checking the electricity usage on household appliances using a Kill-A-Watt Electricity Usage Monitor—which, it was suggested, you might be able to check out at your local library.
Well, that’s good advice, and the Burlington Public Library does have a Kill-A-Watt monitor available for checkout. Read more about the Kill-A-Watt monitor, and then come on in, check it out, and take it home. Even as the weather gets colder and we’re turning up the heat, you may be able to save on your electric bill.
