Book Hangover!

Book hangover–I’ve experienced this,  but never had a name for the malaise before now.  🙂

One of my highest praises for a book is to say: “I felt like I knew the characters; they’d become friends, and when their story ended I missed them.” I’ve experienced book hangovers with most of the books I’ve read by author, Elizabeth Berg. Another of my favorite authors, Jon Hassler, creates characters so real that I really do enter into their world, and miss them when I come to the end of their story. Fortunately for me, there are six books in Hassler’s Staggerford series, and he wrote several other stand-alones.
